Join us for 1 week or the whole summer!

Summer nature camps are 10 weeks throughout the summer and we need volunteers who have the experience to co-teach at least one program this summer. You will spend all day outdoors adventuring, assisting with survival/ancestral skills, and giving kids the opportunity to create connection with the outdoors.

Assistant to lead instructor

Position needs (not all required)

  • Have prior experience leading/teaching groups of children
  • Capable of leading group activities/games
  • Have child management experience
  • Comfortable with managing a group of 12 if lead instructor is busy
  • Ability to take direction from camp director or lead instructor
  • Can commit to entire week of camp
  • Ability to walk, hike, and move easily 6+ hours in the woods
  • Responsible for co-teaching a group for one full week

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • At least 1 full week M-F 8am-4pm
  • Volunteer Training in June and meet/greet interview with coordinator
