Habitat for Humanity of Burlington County and Greater Trenton-Princeton is looking for regular, committed volunteers to join us at our ReStore! Descriptions of opportunities can be found below:

Furniture Showroom Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to interact with customers and help keep our showroom clean and organized. Every day the ReStore receives donations and volunteers are needed to help us unload and organize these donations on the sales floor (typically furniture or rugs) . Building Materials Volunteer The warehouse is where we sell most of our building materials. We always need help organizing shelves in the warehouse and moving merchandise.

A lot of customers have questions about donated products for sale in the store that can range from the installation of a door, installing a cabinet set or replacing a light fixture. A volunteer can provide great customer service and help home owners and/or contractors with their product knowledge.

If you are the more hands-on type you can assist with a variety of projects that are always going on around the ReStore. For example, creating lighting displays, cabinet vignettes, building (or un-building) racking and shelving, fixing and testing appliances, donation assembly, pricing and more. Requirements · We require that you can lift at a least a watermelon (10lbs). Lifting and moving pallets, boxes, furniture (and more) is required at times to accomplish daily task. Some objects are heavy! Everyone is encouraged to use hand trucks, carts and team lifting when necessary. · Friendly! You have to be nice. Customer service and team building is what we’re all about.
