About

Volunteers who are able to move furniture and other items onto the sales floor and unload donated furniture, appliances and building supplies from the donations truck are needed to fill the position of Warehouse Assistant Volunteer at the Habitat ReStore. If you are between jobs, or if you work non-traditional hours, or if you need to volunteer for a court-ordered reason, this would be an excellent opportunity for you!

The Habitat for Humanity Restore-Smyrna supports NW Metro Habitat for Humanity as they provide affordable housing for families in the community who need it, by selling donated new and gently-used furniture, household decor, appliances and building supplies to the general public at prices greatly reduced from retail.

The Habitat ReStore is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 10 AM to 6 PM. A typical volunteer shift is from 10 to 2 or 2 to 6, but volunteers are welcome to serve longer or shorter shifts, if that works better for you.

Some court-ordered volunteers are eligible to serve, depending on the charge. We can accept most traffic-related charges, DUI's and similar charges, but we cannot accept anything related to theft or aggression. Please be sure to let us know beforehand if you need to volunteer for a court-ordered or pre-court reason.

The Habitat ReStore is located at 3315 S. Cobb Drive, Smyrna 30080.
