We are hosting our 4th Annual Health, Environmental Education and Awareness (HEEA) Day, on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Fletcher's Field Shelter 2, Tanglewood Drive, Off Riverdale Road, MD 20737.

The purpose of the HEEA Day is to build community cohesion and increase awareness on the connection between health and environment through health promotion, education, and prevention.
We need some volunteers to assist us with welcoming and ensuring that participants have a fun-filled day out.

The mission of the Global Health and Education Projects (GHEP) is to eliminate health disparities by addressing the non-medical factors that impact health outcomes, also known as the social determinant of health.
Description
GHEP achieves its mission by delivering 6 programs: baby diaper distribution, family tree adoption program, public health 360, health, environmental education and awareness, healthy heart, and research and scholarly publications. The community is front and center of GHEP programs because it is for the community we serve. GHEP is a non-discriminatory organization welcoming individuals from all works of life.
