HI Austin seeks outdoorsy types to show guests from around the world everything that Lady Bird Lake has to offer! The hostel partners with a local paddle board company to offer guests discounted hourly rates and the volunteer gets to go for free. This volunteer opportunity takes place on a weekday, but which day is up to the volunteer. The excursions typically last 1.5-2 hours, but depends on the leader's pace.
Experience paddle boarding is not required. These boards are for beginners so most folks get the hang of it easily. This volunteer opportunity might require providing some motivation for beginners.
