Looking for a fun community event to volunteer at and celebrate the fall? City Blossoms, a Washington DC based non-profit committed to kid-driven, community engaging and creative green spaces, is seeking volunteers to help us complete the final stages of the Eastern High School Garden's revitalization.
We will be working with volunteers on a number of tasks including weeding, installing new signage, replacing in-ground garden bed borders, cleaning the greenhouse, and planting bulbs. The more the merrier, so be sure to invite your friends and family!
Please dress in clothes you don't mind getting dirty as well as closed toe shoes. Masks are required. Everyone is encouraged to bring a water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen. We will provide gloves and tools. Please keep in mind that we will work rain or shine, unless otherwise specified.
Interested in attending? E-mail nicole@cityblossoms.org to RSVP and for more information.
