The Harbour Board of Directors is driving a pivotal year of change and growth. We are looking for new members who have a desire to strenghen our programs serving young people experiencing homelessness in Suburban Cook County. We are especially looking for candidates with marketing, fundraising, networking, and capital planning experience. Will you use your skills to help us expand and develop ours?
As a Harbour Board Member, you are a part of a team that strives for excellence in delivery of services to young people experiencing homelessness, young women and children, and to the communitites we serve. Each Board Member joins a committee (Program/Personnel, Facilities, Governance, Fundraising/Development, Finance) and attends meetings as scheduled. Most Board and Committee Meetings occur in the evening; a schedule of meetings for the upcoming year is provided in July.
Fundraising is a core responsibility for all Board Members.
