Elim Park is a non-profit retirement community that hosts is own theater, Nelson Hall. Nelson Hall hosts a full season of theatrical performances featuring all genre of arts: music, dance, comedy and theatre based performances. Evening and matinee performances are featured during each season.
Volunteer help is needed in the form of our Nelson Hall Theater Gems. As a Gem, you will perform theater based tasks i.e. ushering, ticketing, programs, greeting and box office. A 2 hour commitment per show is required for volunteering as a theater volunteer. Uniform vest, bow tie, flashlight and name badge will be provided. This position requires the ability to stand for 30 minutes prior to the show, and 15 minutes during intermission/end of performance. Orientation and training provided.
Volunteers for Nelson Hall Theater have the benefit of enjoying live performances as part of their volunteer position, use of Elim Park’s Wellness Center featuring fitness equipment and swimming pool open 24 hours, 7 days a week, complimentary show tickets for friends and families, and meal reimbursement.
