National Cancer Survivors Day(r) is an annual, treasured Celebration of Life that is held in hundreds of communities nationwide, and around the world, on the first Sunday in June. It is a CELEBRATION for those who have survived, an INSPIRATION for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of SUPPORT for families, and an OUTREACH to the community. On National Cancer Survivors Day(r), thousands gather across the globe to honor cancer survivors and to show the world that life after a cancer diagnosis can be fruitful, rewarding, and even inspiring.

Join The Kiona Foundation in Merced, CA, where we will host our annual celebration of life event, Surviving in the Park. This local event is part of a worldwide celebration coordinated by the National Cancer Survivors Day(r) Foundation and supported nationally by Coping(r) with Cancer magazine.

We are looking for event planners to help with design, fundraising, vendor management, entertainment and more. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your support for cancer survivors in the Central Valley.
