Each year the City of Shawnee hosts our Spring Starts Here event. This is an opportunity to refresh our downtown to prepare for people being outdoors more. We are seeking a group of 10-15 people to help with a specific beatification project...planting flowers! All supplies will be provided and this group will be asked to plant the provided flowers in a few existing beds while cleaning up any trash or debris. Those who participate will receive a voucher for lunch from one of the food trucks at the event. Volunteers must be 15 and older and have at least two people 18+ in the group.
