We have a unique opportunity available to help re-brand the entire image of a non-profit, from logo design to brand identity, advertising, print-material templates, marketing initiatives, graphic design for the website, and social media planning/execution.
If you have experience in branding, you have the opportunity to greatly impact a non-profit and add that to your experience as well. Our organization has been growing rapidly and we are on the way to being one of the most important non-profits in Milwaukee.
If you do not have much experience in branding or are a student, but would like to help a non-profit with your skills, we would like to interview you to see if you would be a great addition to our committee. You will help create branding/advertising material and be involved in the decision-making process. You will essentially support the re-branding process from beginning to end and help create material for social media.
Please reach out with your interest and let me know when you're available to meet! We have sessions Tuesdays 6-8pm and Saturdays 10am-12 and we can meet during those times or schedule another time.

Mission Statement
SEA Literacy uplifts the lives of refugee students in the Milwaukee area by empowering them to become engaged members of this diverse, dynamic community. Our goal is to foster social and educational development, thus creating community leaders and inspiring future generations. We are also committed to providing the Milwaukee community the opportunity to reach out to their new neighbors and strengthen harmony in our city!
Description
SEA Literacy (SEAL) provides year-round ESL lessons, homework tutoring, and recreational activities to refugee youth grades kindergarten through college. We meet on Tuesday evenings 6-8 pm and Saturdays mornings 10 am- 12 and we also go on field trips and have special events throughout the year. Children in this program attend by choice; they want to learn because they want to learn English, do better in the classroom and meet other kids. This is an advantage of volunteering here; you can see immediate improvement! SEAL focuses on helping refugee students, who have been in the US anywhere from a month to a few years, to help them be more fluent in English and more connected with peers and society. As a volunteer you will be helping the students read, learn and speak English, play games, work on STEM or art projects and/or assist them in doing their homework. If you have a skill you can teach (kids LOVE chess but need teachers, some taught knitting, etc.) we would love to work with you!
