The Blessing Board's Truck
One of the trucks we have to pickup furniture from our donors.

The Blessing Board is looking for a few strong individuals (anyone over 16) who would be willing to help with pickup of furniture and household items from our donors. Our pickups take place during the week and weekends - you could volunteer depending on your availiabity. We're looking for some sort of consistent time commitment (every other Saturday, every Wednesday from 9-12, etc.).

Skills Needed and Requirements:

Able to lift, carry and move potentially heavy items (tables, dressers, beds, couches etc.). However, you don't need to be a 25 yr old superman! The majority of our drivers and pickup helpers are retired men and women.

Must be responsible and be able to represent TBB in a respectable way

Our mission is to improve the quality of life of those in our local community who are in need of furniture and household goods. We fulfill our mission by receiving and re-donating furniture and household goods.

Description

Since 2007 The Blessing Board has been furnishing homes with love in Western Pennsylvania. This is done by collecting furniture and household items that others no longer need and giving them free of charge to those who do.

We serve families who are struggling with challenges casued by house fires, homelessness, unemployment, domestic voicelence, disabilities, and relocation. Over the course of time, The Blessing Board has enabled thousands of families to live more comfortably.
