We have some great upcoming and ongoing events to participate in, for folks with all sorts of skills and interests.
These include plant sales, bake sales, garden tours, our monthly film screenings, and better still, we are always seeking to add both educational and fund-raising activities and great volunteers to head them.
We could also use help with the tech side of things, grant writing, and other tasks that don't require getting ones hands dirty.
We are an amicable, inclusive and open-minded group, excited about new ideas and new energy. If you are interested in gardening, nutrition, the environment or education, we'd love for you to come join us. You may participate as little or as much as you'd like, though we do want folks to follow through with any specific task they have agreed to perform.
We are also seeking board members. Every month we have a potluck/board meeting, which is a lot of fun and all our volunteers are welcome to attend.
Here is your chance to really make a difference in a tight-knit community and work closely with various other local non-profits who share some of our goals. Come sit at our table and together we can help get nutritious food to everyone.

Mission Statement
To strengthen the local food community in Western Washington county by improving access to nourishing local food, supporting growers and producers, and exchanging knowledge with the community.
Description
Dairy Creek Community Food Web's niche differs from that of food banks and pantrys. By serving to connect, support, and educate all members of the local food system we hope to increase food security and help ensure access to healthful, local food. In the hope of furthering our goals, we provide a free educational food-related film every month and sponsor various classes in gardening, food preservation, and talks on food justice topics. We work with several other groups in providing activities of interest to growers and eaters alike. Our current goals include getting a nutritional garden at every local school, opening a gardening and food book lending library, and promoting the establishment of a year-round farmer's market, and increasing the number of community gardens.
