Mission Statement

Habitat for Humanity's mission is to eliminate poverty housing worldwide through the building of simple, decent housing using volunteer labor and private donations.


Paterson Habitat for Humanity, founded in October 1984, builds home in the City of Paterson, New Jersey. To date Paterson Habitat for Humanity has built 265 homes, serving 300 families. Paterson is the 3rd largest city in NJ and the oldest planned industrial city in the US.
