Misty
Our mini horse Misty has lots of personality!

Our non-profit counseling center is located our 3-acre farm in Arvada, CO. We have 24 resident animals that have all been re-homed or rescued by us and help our clients with mental and behavioral health issues. Most of our clients are under the age of 18 and suffer from abuse and other forms of trauma. Volunteers are joined in teams to work in the mornings to help care for the animals and get the farm ready for the day. Requires a weekly commitment of 2 hours per week (usually 8:00 - 10:00 am) for 6 months minimum. All volunteers are trained to work with the animals, including basic horse, alpaca and goat care. Immediate need for weekday mornings. Our animals include Horses (including 2 mini horses), alpacas, goats, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and rats.)
