Volunteers make or receive a regular call, email, or text message to or from a member to ensure their safety at home through our "Telephone Reassurance Program."
Potential volunteers are interested in helping Lawrence residents feel secure in their own homes by providing daily calls to members. If you are a resident who wishes to contribute to the community but can't participate in strenuous activities or has a limited availability, this is the perfect opportunity
Duties and responsibilities: Make or receive a daily call, email, or text to one to three members on a regular schedule for anywhere from 5-15 minutes per communication, follow organizational policies, follow proper procedures to ensure members' safety when a call is not answered, log your calls and report to Village staff. Participate in all required trainings and background checks.
