Help us meet one of the Village's biggest needs! CVL aims to improve the quality of life for those who have difficulty leaving home by providing transportation to attend appointments, obtain medical care, shop for groceries, or attend social gatherings. Our volunteer drivers make this service possible.
Volunteers can set their own schedule and respond to requests from members on an as-needed basis.
Duties and responsibilities: Provide transportation for members, either one-way, multi-stop, or round trip, depending on the request. Provide a safe and reliable driving environment for the member. Participate in all required trainings and background checks.

The Mission of Community Village Lawrence is to enhance the quality of life for the entire community by helping neighbors remain in their homes as they age. We aim to do this by creating a network of supports following the Village model to make aging at home a long-term, affordable option.
Description
Community Village Lawrence is a membership-based service that will bring new strengths to the sense of community in Lawrence, Kansas. Any Lawrence resident who wishes to age in their home but feels they may need extra support is welcome to join. Become a future member or current volunteer for Community Village Lawrence and join a strong and growing community: volunteer to help your neighbors, receive support from other neighborhood volunteers, and rely on service providers that care about Lawrence residents and are investing in the community.
