Founder

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in our community and possibly nationally. We are a new non profit, obtaining 501(c)(3) status in Feb. 2013. We completed a strategic planning process in 2014 and began implementing our strategic plan in 2015.

Our mission is to provide a positive place for men impacted by divorce, providing education, support, advocacy and helping create a gender neutral process.

What are we looking for?

There is an opportunity on the board for a treasurer to help maintain our financial records and to bring our financial activities to the next level, getting more granular with our activities, helping automate our transactions and helping set solid accounting practices to pass future audited financial statements. Currently we have fairly low transaction volume - 10 to 20 transactions per month.

Further, the treasurer, as well as all board members, play a critical role to help shape the direction and contribute to the strategic direction and growth of The Divorce Men's Network.

Being a very young organization, we are a working board and request that those interested in applying have at least 5 to 7 hours per month to attend one board meeting and also working on our financial record keeping.

You must be willing to have a background check performed.

Please contact Bruce Smith (Executive Director) if you are interested in learning more about serving on our board.

Mission Statement
