We are currently seeking compassionate and caring volunteers to spend time with our Hospice Residents at the Mason Ohio facility of Brookdale Senior Living. Our residents are facing the end stages of life and they beneift greatly from an hour visit a week by a caring and giving volunteer. Our volunteers spend time simply talking with the resident, pushing them in their wheel chair outside (weather permitting) to get them out of their room for a bit. Sometimes they read to the patient, play a guitar, or simply watch tv and hold their hand. Do you have an hour for someone facing the end of their life? You can bring kindness and help alleviate their fears.
We currently have seven residents awaiting a friend!
