Volunteers at Companion Hospice make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients facing terminal illness, throughout the San Gabriel Valley.
Here are some of the ways volunteers touch lives:Share companionship - your very presence and compassion are a gift!
Provide relief for family caregivers - for example, sit bedside while a family member runs errands? Read to patients - sacred texts, classic fiction, or poetry
Run errands ? Play cards or games Share simple crafts Complete clerical work in our Pasadena office? The opportunities are endless!

Each volunteer candidate must have a valid driver’s license, proof of car insurance, submit to a criminal background check as well as an annual TB skin test (administered free of charge by Companion Hospice nurses) and attend an orientation.
