FUNDRAISING AND EVENTS VOLUNTEER

Position Summary: Assist with any part of a special event, this could be planning, preparing, or advertising. Assist with or lead a fundraising effort for Pink Peaches, Inc this could range from selling tickets for a raffle or event, to Securing in-kind donations events or silent auction.

Volunteer Job Description:

Pink Peaches, Inc. is a Breast Cancer Charity committed to educating and supporting people in their journey with breast cancer and survivorship. We have several fundraising events throughout the year as well as our Annual Breast Cancer Banquet. Every event requires a lot of time planning, advertising, and setting up before and during the actual day of our events. Fundraising and events volunteers can make every event more successful, run more smoothly and available to a larger community. Volunteers help with any of the following:

• Plan for the event in the months leading up to it.

• Advertise to attendees and volunteers for the day of the event.

• Organize logistics.

• Run raffles or auctions at events.

• Secure in-kind donations for raffles or auctions.

• Assist with set-up or clean up on the day of.

• Plan and organize a fundraising event for Pink Peaches, Inc!

• Selling tickets for events or fundraisers

• Attend monthly meetings

• Provide fundraising ideas

Qualifications:

• Volunteers should enjoy planning events, organizing or managing administrative tasks.

• Participate in ongoing fundraisers through out the year with the ability to sell tickets for fundraisers and events

• Volunteers must be committed to and support Pink Peaches, Inc’s work and mission.

• Ability to attend monthly meetings
