The Earth 2100 Conference is a knowledge exchange space where a thoughtful, civil, intergenerational dialogue takes place every year on global issues that young people will confront over the course of their lives. Its goal is to inspire the young people to be an important voice on global problems and be the powerful force to lead the change towards a sustainable planet for future generations.
We are looking for an enthusiastic video volunteer who would be willing to produce and edit short creative videos for our Earth 2100 Conference in December, 2017
Key Tasks:
- Plan the video program for the Earth 2100 Conference
- Create and film short videos for the Earth 2100 Conference
- Edit short videos for the Conference
- Record and film the conference in December, 2017 (date and location TBC
Our Task owns its own camera equipment
Model #: AVCCAM memory Card Camera-Recorder, Model # AG-HMC150P.
Volunteer must own editing equipment

Our Task’s Mission is to transform young adults into global thinkers and empower them to lead the next generation in building a sustainable future.
Description
We are an all-volunteer organization consisting of young adults, mentors and other global citizens who are concerned about the future of Earth.
Our Task envisions a shift in global civilization in which institutional and individual values are redirected from unsustainable growth and consumption toward a mutually enhancing relationship between humans and Earth. To achieve this vision, young people everywhere need to know the harm humanity is doing to Earth and where existing policies are taking us.
Our Task is working to give young adults a voice and create a healthy and sustainable future. If we can begin living "Plan B" lifestyles, and get others to as well, we can be a real force for change and can create the world we all dream of!
We work to recruit youth and mentors from all over the world to collaborate on global issues; educate ourselves and others on respected international studies; develop a realistic plan of action to bring ourselves, our children, and Earth safely through the 21st century; and engage our parents' and grandparents' generations in intergenerational dialogue on the changes needed, especially changes within the world's culture-shaping institutions.
