The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. Our volunteers come into the Cobb County, GA Department of Family and Children Services and supervise, befriend, comfort children who have just come into State Custody. They also assist with the care of children before and after visitations with the birth parents and with care of children during meetings held at the DFCS Office.
Watch children in our office, Monday through Friday 9 am through 5 pm, no holidays or weekend. Shifts run from 10-2 pm but you can choose the days and the hours you'd like to work.
Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a drug screen and background check paid for by Cobb County Department of Family & Children Services.
