OC Hospice is looking for compassionate, caring volunteers who speak SIGN LANGUAGE to visit our hospice patients on an occasional basis. Patients reside throughout Orange County and East Long Beach in homes, apartments, skilled nursing facilities and assisted living homes.
Our Volunteers:
Provide Companionship: Sitting with Patient/Visiting, General Help with Other Activities of Daily Living, Providing Caregiver Relief, Preparing Light Meals & Snacks, Offering Help with Eating, Sharing Art and/or Music, Sharing Your Own Hobbies and Interests...
Or Help With Household Chores: Gardening, Laundry, Shopping & Running Errands, Light Chores

OC Hospice provides quality of life and comfort for patients with life-threatening illnesses. We are a team of caring professionals working to maintain the dignity of our patients and their families. Our staff provides hands on care and are skilled in pain management.
Our hospice team consists of experienced nurse, aides, social workers, chaplains and volunteers who provide compassionate physical, emotional, and spiritual support for terminally ill patients and their families. With the help of our hospice team, you and your loved ones can spend the remaining time living with the dignity and respect you deserve.
