The Green Bay YMCA Full Circle Program is one of the charity partners for the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon. This is a huge opportunity for the children and families affected by the Autism Spectrum or with sensory disorders, as this partnership gives us the chance to raise awareness and funds for this amazing program. It is also a great chance for wonderful volunteers like yourself to enjoy a day of service and fun! The Y is responsible for the following fun activities:
- Food Tent: Assist with preparing food and handing out food to race participants.
- Milk and Fruit Distribution: Pass out milk, oranges, and bananas at the finish line to runners.
- Beverage Tent: Assist with the distribution of beverages for runners and spectators on race day. MUST BE 18 OR OLDER.
- Half Marathon Course Corner Guards: Stand on assigned corners of the half marathon route and work as a crossing guard, stopping traffic to allow runners to run through.
- Course Cleanup (Marathon/Half Marathon): Assist our waste management sponsor with picking up trash along the Marathon and Half Marathon (Sunday) course routes. MUST BE 18 OR OLDER
Go to: http://www.cellcomgreenbaymarathon.com/volunteer to sign up for any of the above opportunities to help support the Full Circle Program and the Y!

Description
At the Y, we're more than a gym, we're a community! Over 1200 staff and 4,000 volunteers are ready to teach, coach, and care for our over 30000 members.
The Greater Green Bay YMCA is a cause-driven, non-profit organization that strengthens the foundations of our community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
The Y believes in teaching character development through upholding the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in our daily lives.
The Y classifies volunteers into one of three categories: Corporate, Program, and Special Event. Corporate volunteers serve on our board or a corporate commitee. Program volunteers perform an on-going task for the Y, like Girls Night Out, Y Night, or Youth Sports. Special event volunteers assist the Y on a one-time basis for a specific event or task, like Halloween at the Y or Healthy Kids Day.
