Enjoy nature and help restore a historic landmark--all at the same time! Join Graycliff's Green Team of gardeners and grounds keepers to help keep our 8.5 acres of grounds and gardens attractive to visitors from throughout the world. Help us preserve and maintain the gracious park-like setting of this magnificent jewel on the lake. Lovely location on a bluff high above Lake Erie in a country-like setting, yet only 20 minutes from downtown Buffalo. Your help will be appreciated whether you like to work with others, or if you prefer to enjoy nature as you volunteer in a quiet corner of the estate.
Expertise in gardening appreciated, but not necessary. There are many different tasks to be done in maintaining our extensive grounds, ranging from digging to weeding to trimming--just about everything!
Whatever your interests or skills, if you enjoy the out-of-doors and fresh air, come give us a hand.
The Graycliff Conservancy, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to restoring and preserving the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Graycliff Estate as a publicly accessible landmark.
The non-profit Graycliff Conservancy was founded in 1997 specifically to acquire, preserve, and restore the Graycliff Estate. A true grass-roots success story, thanks to volunteers and professionals throughout Western New York and across the United States, the Graycliff Conservancy has accomplished most of its original goals, and is making great progress in completing restoration of the Graycliff Estate, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright from 1926-31. We hope you will consider joining and advancing these efforts.
