Graycliff Green Team

Enjoy nature and help restore a historic landmark - all at the same time! Join Graycliff's Green Team of gardeners and grounds keepers to help keep our 8.5 acres of grounds and gardens attractive to visitors from throughout the world. Help us preserve and maintain the gracious park-like setting of this magnificent jewel on the lake. Lovely location on a bluff high above Lake Erie in a country-like setting, yet only 20 minutes from downtown Buffalo. As a member of the Green Team, your most important job is to keep Graycliff’s grounds neat and presentable (with a focus on the historic "Home Grounds") under the director of Graycliff’s horticultural staff.

At varying times, duties may include:
● Weeding
● Helping to lay mulch and compost
● Raking leaves
● Clearing branches after a windstorm
● Planting and watering flower beds
● Trimming bushes and foliage

Expertise in gardening appreciated, but not necessary. Monday availability is a must. There are many different tasks to be done in maintaining our extensive grounds, ranging from digging to weeding to trimming--just about everything!
