Animals are a great source of companionship for a person experiencing their final days. Oftentimes, they seem to know a persons needs better than they do themselves. Faith Hospice is seeking furry volunteers who can provide visits to patients throughout Grand Rapids and the surrounding area and also our hospice home, Trillium Woods. Scheduling is flexible and can be set to the volunteer’s personal calendar. Dogs must be certified with West Michigan Therapy Dogs or a similar agency. (ask to learn more about how you can get your dog certified).
