PLACEMENT PURPOSE
As part of the largest humanitarian network in the world, Red Cross Clubs give you a way to put your talent, skills and passion to work for a greater purpose. In a Red Cross Club, you’ll work closely with local Red Cross chapters, engaging in projects that address some of our country’s and world’s greatest needs including preparing your community for disasters and hosting lifesaving blood drives. You will create, plan and participate in service projects that will help your school, your community, and make an impact around the globe. Red Cross Clubs also offer many opportunities for self-development, and empower you to build critical leadership skills. And of course, Red Cross Clubs can be a fun, energetic experience that expands your social network. OPEN TIME DAYS
1-10 hours per week depending on service projects
REQUIRED TRAINING- Must remain enrolled at the high school of the club for which you are joining
- Upon turning 18 a background check will be required to continue volunteering with the Red Cross
- Orientation at the beginning of the year
