PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Using carefully assessed curriculum tools, this one-hour program provides emergency-preparedness education to youth in grades 3-5 in school and after-school settings. In a highly interactive format, the program addresses fire safety, local hazards, coping skills and making a personal emergency kit in a pillowcase that is supplied by the program.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Varies, depending on availability. Approximately a⦆2-Hour commitment per presentation (1 hour set up/clean up, 1 hour presentation) not including pick up/drop off of materials from the Chapter, commuting to and from the presentation site or any additional tasks done at the Chapter.
