Be a part of the 7th annual all-female triathlon designed to raise awareness about early detection of breast cancer, research into eradicating the disease, recognizing the survivors and those living with breast cancer, and remembering those who have been lost to this terrible disease. Do you like the racing environment? Standing outside on a crisp summer morning cheering others on? Do you enjoy the buzz of an experience with competition, fun, and a post race celebration? Then helping Greenswell, LLC, at this year’s Tri for Hope is the place you should be. Thnis women’s only race takes place at Alum Creek Beach Entrance on Saturday, August 18th from 8am to 11am. Volunteers are needed to check in participants, help them set up, cheer them on, pass out water, keep them safe on the course, pass out medals, and help serve an amazingly fresh bbq lunch. It is non stop fun working in a great team environment. The event revenue is donated to local breast cancer organizations to fund breast cancer research and awareness activities.
