The Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB) is looking for 1-2 volunteer Nutritionists or Dietitians to educate and assist individuals who recieve services on nutrition, how food choices impacts their health, and suggestions for healthier options. The volunteer could also conduct a group on nutrition education and information about healthy, cost-effective meals. Hours are flexible, but would be during normal business hours. Opportunity is available in Reston and Springfield.

The Fairfax-Falls Church CSB’s mission is to provide and coordinate a system of community-based supports for individuals and families of Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church who are affected by developmental delay, intellectual disability, serious emotional disturbance (youth), mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Description
When you join our volunteer team, you will receive training, supervision, diverse educational experiences, and opportunities for personal growth. Various positions are available throughout Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. The times and days available are flexible and include some evening and weekend opportunities, as well as regular weekday hours. By providing direct service, administrative support, or participating in special projects, volunteers are valuable members of our team.
