El Centro de la Raza’s 12th Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration is free to the public and will take place on May 6, 2017, from 12-4pm at Plaza Roberto Maestas. We expect at least 700 people from Beacon Hill and the surrounding community.

El Centro de la Raza is a nonprofit organization that serves as a voice and a hub of the Latino community in Seattle. Our annual Cinco de Mayo celebration features traditional foods, local vendors, a health and social services fair, and live entertainment.

Volunteer roles include:

May 6th @ Plaza Roberto Maestas

Set-up: 9am-12pm (10 volunteers)

Food Service: 11am-4pm (10 v.)

Children’s activities: 11am-4pm (4 v.)

Greeters/Ushers: 11am-4pm (4 v.)

Raffle/donations/t-shirt sales: 11am-4pm (4 v.)

Photographers: 12pm-4pm (1 v.)

Clean up: (4pm-6pm) (5 v.)

Traffic Directors 9am - 1pm; 3pm-6pm
