This volunteer opportunity will let you help our visually-impaired guests and sighted golf professionals share their skills with blind kids and blind or disabled veterans.
We have 4 golf instruction stations where there will be 4 blind golfers and 4 sighted pros - these 8 people handle all of the golf-related activities. So, the volunteers are important as they will help with set-up and tear-down (that is, put the golf clubs at each station and gather them at the end). They also help us prepare a small 'Goodie bag’ for each participant, welcome them at registration, handle registration, participate in getting each group from station to station and may help the MVCC staff with the lunch service. I would like a volunteer or two to document all the great moments with video and photography, I can supply a GoPro and a digital camera for their use.
