* Attend all Community Pet Days (typically held in May and October) * Run the spay / neuter table at all CPD's. This includes communication with families on the importance of spaying/neutering, registering dogs for specific surgery dates, tracking all appointments on an excel spreadsheet. * Communicate with veterinarians to ensure all appointments are scheduled. * Conduct follow up phone calls with all families prior to surgery to remind them of their appointment. * Coordinate transportation to and from the vet and home for families who do not have access to a vehicle. * Monitor coalition email and respond as needed. * Plan and coordinate the distribution of Community Pet Days flyers 2 weeks prior to each event in the Garfield Park neighborhood to include the following: 1) Create a list of businesses, churches, and community centers in the neighborhood to include. 2) Develop a map of the Garfield Park neighborhood and break out into sections for our grassroots teams. 3) Assemble and organize teams so that all areas of the neighborhood are saturated with flyers. 4) Schedule distribution dates and meet teams in the neighborhood with flyers and supplies.
