Are you interested in history? Have a special talent you want to share? Are you a natural storyteller? Are you between the ages of 14 and 18? Do you need volunteer hours for school or a club?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, the Bartow History Museum is looking for you. Junior Program Volunteers are needed to help facilitate educational programs and special events at the museum. Depending on your availability and preference, you will work directly with groups, and also be asked to prepare craft projects, make posters and more. After a training period, you will work with the Program Department staff to learn the ins and outs of various programs, and be assigned to groups/tasks as needed. You may also be asked to participate in other programs, such as workshops and camps.
Volunteers receive free admission to the Bartow History Museum, Tellus Science Museum and Booth Western Art Museum.
