Mentor:

  • Value participant(s) as a person
  • Volunteer time to communicate with participant(s) via phone, email, video chat, and/or in person
  • Meet with participant(s) at least twice a month to ensure they are reaching their personal and professional goals
  • Build trust with the participant(s)
  • Be a reliable contact for the participant(s)
  • Under the Director of Programs and Policies, help develop more effective ways to get Xtreme Rise to their ultimate level of success
  • Mentor must meet the following:
    • 18 years old
    • Currently employed
    • Must have been on current job for at least 4 years or have an AA degree with 2 years of work experience
    • Must have reliable transportation or reliable technology to meet with mentee
    • Must have time to dedicate to mentee (Minimum 2 hours per month)
    • Must be ambitious and able to motivate the mentee in achieving their professional/personal goals

Description

Since the formation of Xtreme Rise Inc, we have been passionate about helping participants fulfill their full potential. We aim to achieve this by offering a free personalized 8-week* training program, and working hand-in-hand with the participants. During the course of the 8-week training and mentoring program our participants will learn skills that will help take any organization from one level to the next.
