Junior Camp Counselors are teens that assist the adult Camp Counselors with daily camp responsibilities including crafts, games, snack time, monitoring recess, educational programs, and setup/cleanup. They also get to enjoy many of the activities that camp kids experience such as meeting some of the education animals, make toys for exhibit and education animals, and meet the zoo keepers! It is great opportunity for teens who love animals and enjoy working with younger kids.

The zoo offers 9 weeks of summer camp. Junior Camp Counselors must commit to at least 2 full weeks.
