It is that time of year again that we start looking for volunteers to help with the Coaches vs. Cancer Wisconsin Gala on Saturday, April 29th at the Monona Terrace in Madison.

The American Cancer Society’s mission is to save lives, celebrate lives and lead the fight for a world without cancer. Over the past nine years, Coaches vs. Cancer Wisconsin, with the help of coaches, volunteers, sponsors and donors has raised over $5.6 million and each year hosts over 700 distinguished guests at our annual Coaches vs. Cancer Wisconsin Gala.

An event like this wouldn’t be successful if it weren’t for our volunteers who continue to help our Gala maintain its status as the #1 Coaches vs. Cancer event in the entire nation.

Coaches vs. Cancer Wisconsin is looking for high-level, motivated volunteers to help run the behind-the-scenes logistics of our 10 th Annual Gala.

Volunteers will be assigned various important tasks that take place before and during the Gala, such as:

* Pre-Event Setup (slots available from 9am-1pm)

* Greeters/Ushers (during event)

* Silent Auction Management/ Check-Out (during event)

* Live Auction/Raise the Paddle Donation Spotters (during event)

* Departure Gift Distribution (end of event)

* Inventory of Items (end of event)

Dinner (Pizza) WILL be provided for all volunteers.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact marieanna.wild@cancer.org to be added to the volunteer contact list. Duty assignments will be made by mid-April.
