Volunteers are needed at our Day Center in Old Town Bluffton.
Front Desk volunteers greet guests, answer phones, and provide clerical support for staff.
Openings are available for morning or afternoons Monday through Friday.
Prior office experience as well as computer and database skills required.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence. We recognize that poverty is a multifaceted problem that requires a multifaceted response. We respond by integrating educational outreach, smart programming, effective policies, and the hands-on work of hundreds of volunteers. We provide food, shelter, and support services for homeless families. We provide advice and advocacy for at-risk families to prevent their becoming homeless. And we educate people about poverty and the means to combat it.

Description

Family Promise of Beaufort County partners with local congregations, individuals, families, other social service agencies, foundations and businesses to provide shelter and viable solutions for families with children who are facing a housing crisis. The Family Promise Case Manager provides comprehensive case management and assistance in securing employment, medical care, childcare, school placement and ultimately affordable housing.
