We have children with compromised immune systems that often stay with us, so it is very important for us to maintain a clean environment. Having groups who come and help us with our daily chores help keep our facilities nice and clean for the families we serve.
Chores included are cleaning our kitchens, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, picking up trash as well as other basic house chores. We provide the cleaning supplies although donations are greatly appreciated!

Mission Statement
The mission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Antonio is to operate charitable facilities that provide safe temporary living accommodations for critically ill children and their families while receiving medical treatment in the San Antonio, Texas area. Our goal is to give families the gift of togetherness while providing a safe and caring environment where families in similar circumstances can interact, and lend and receive mutual support. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Antonio will also support other causes that improve the lives of children in our community.
Description
Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Antonio, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) is owned and operated by a local not-for-profit organization formed to operate the Ronald McDonald Houses and other related hospital and patient projects. Members and directors are unpaid volunteers.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Antonio (RMHC) provides three homes in San Antonio where families of critically ill children reside while their children are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. It also provides two Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms in Laredo, Texas.
