Licensed cosmetologists needed in the East Valley!
Time is precious. And life is to be lived. None of this changes when time grows short. Looking good and being pampered can help patients feel good--you can be the person who makes a difference for a hospice patient who is unable to leave their home or care community. Help them feel "normal" without having their illness define who they are--hospice patients are still people!
A haircut, style, manicure, or pedicure is often overlooked as a volunteer opportunity to bring a smile to a patient's face as they continue their journey. Won't you consider volunteering with East Valley Hospice for a truly rewarding and special experience?

Mission Statement
It is the mission of the East Valley Hospice staff to walk side-by-side with patients, offering support for medical needs, as well as emotional and spiritual needs. This support extends to family members as hospice helps them cope with their own unique emotional and spiritual concerns. East Valley Hospice recognizes that every person's experience will be different. The hospice team creates a plan of care according to the needs and wishes of each patient.
Description
Hospice healthcare focuses on caring and comfort. It offers choices, helps preserve dignity and seeks to maintain the highest quality of life. At East Valley Hospice a team of physicians, nurses, social workers, home care aides, chaplains, bereavement counselors, and volunteers work together to provide comfort and companionship to patients and their families.
