Vi è un urgente bisogno di un uomo di lingua italiana al volontariato come un lettore , shopper e la posta selezionatrice per un altro uomo che parla italiano . Questo uomo del posto , che è legalmente cieco , ha bisogno di un lettore, shopper e qualcuno per aiutare con le bollette e magari appendere fuori e parlare italiano o guardare la TV o futbol italiano . Il volontario ideale parlerà e leggere in inglese e in italiano , di essere disposti a visitare o chiamare questa persona nel tardo pomeriggio o nella prima serata o il fine settimana .
Requirements to be a great volunteer include:
a desire to help others;
a pleasant demeanor;
a good reading/speaking voice;
average reading skills;
organizational or planning abilities;
a good driving record;
a clear criminal history;
access to a car with proof of insurance;
a minimum of $50/100k liability and $5,000 of property damage coverage.

The Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind enables its clients to become more self-sufficient and to maximize their participation in the community, at school and in employment settings.
