WPF is looking for volunteers for the project manager role to handle engage regularly with our network on a global basis. He she will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
1- DRIVE STRATEGIC VISION FORWARD WITH the FOUNDER
- Forge partnerships
- Followup on Partnership offers we receive regularly
- Impact and shape the vision of the organization
- Shape the strategy of the organization on global level
- Impact the lives of people
- Manage day to day, week to week operations of the foundation
- Recruit volunteers based on skill, expertise and motivation level
- Managing a team of volunteers for spreading the message of peace in their resp. countries
- Oversee the planning, implementation, execution and evaluation of the Foundation's programs.
- The position holder shall foster a culture of accountability and ensures that organizational resources are used in the most effective manner.
Requirements
- Ability to work within a small, multi-cultural team in decentralized locations.
- Excellent communication skills - Verbal and Non Verbal
- Good in building networks and connecting with people for multiple countries.
- Fluent and accurate English

We are creating a global community that is actively working towards peace. One by one and together, we can all make a difference. We believe that peace building has to be holistic. This is why we combine educational publications, educational initiatives, ongoing educational outreach programs, worldwide initiatives and programs with our partners and global events to have a holistic and systemic impact to reach a critical mass of individual around the globe that will serve as an army of peacemakers.
Description
We are a completely volunteer-based organization. We are committed to making this world a better place, driven by the vision that one day we can achieve peace for humanity and for this planet.
We know this is an audacious goal, but we are motivated and inspired by the goal of creating a critical mass of practical idealists, of dreamers who get things done. After all, what would this world be without dreamers?
We believe that this world needs more of these dreamers and more people with big visions for they will truly make this world a more peaceful place.
Since we are a completely volunteer-based organization, not one of our core team or staff members receives any salary or monetary compensation for what they do. This includes our founders and our chairman.
We direct any donation we receive directly to the cause or project it is meant for after a small percentage is used to cover overhead expenses. That’s it. World Peace is challenging enough, let’s keep our organization simple.
