WPF is looking for volunteers for the role of web content writer to provide the right words that drive traffic to our website, build our brand and optimize for search engines. He/she will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
- Writing informative and engaging articles, blogs, press releases using keywords to optimize content
- Coming up with topic, ideas, blog titles to garner maximum attention for our online posts
- Staying updated about best practices and latest trends for writing for the web
- Writing, editing and proofreading content for accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinating content creation and posting schedule
Requirements
- Fluent and grammatically sound English skills
- Ability to create engaging articles with zero filler or fluff
- Experience writing for the web and well acquainted with
- Well acquainted with SEO and optimizing content with the right keywords to be search friendly
- Experience with content management and web research to write eloquent conten
In our quest for world peace, we are continuously looking to spread our reach farther. Our online presence helps boost this cause in a big way which is why we need to maintain an up-to date, efficient and visible virtual identity with clear and succinct messages. This in turn will help us increase our reach and present what we do to the world.

The mission of the World Peace Foundation is to inspire and empower people around the world to be more at peace with themselves, others and the environment. We are creating a global community that is actively working towards peace. One by one and together, we can all make a difference. We believe that peace building has to be holistic. This is why we combine educational publications, educational initiatives, ongoing educational outreach programs, worldwide initiatives and programs with our partners and global events to have a holistic and systemic impact to reach a critical mass of individual around the globe that will serve as an army of peacemakers.
Description
We are a completely volunteer-based organization. We are committed to making this world a better place, driven by the vision that one day we can achieve peace for humanity and for this planet.
We know this is an audacious goal, but we are motivated and inspired by the goal of creating a critical mass of practical idealists, of dreamers who get things done. After all, what would this world be without dreamers?
We believe that this world needs more of these dreamers and more people with big visions for they will truly make this world a more peaceful place.
Since we are a completely volunteer-based organization, not one of our core team or staff members receives any salary or monetary compensation for what they do. This includes our founders and our chairman.
We direct any donation we receive directly to the cause or project it is meant for after a small percentage is used to cover overhead expenses. That’s it. World Peace is challenging enough, let’s keep our organization simple.
