ORGANIZATION: Catholic Charities Diocese of Stockton

NAMI needs volunters. They help people with mental illness, their families and the community by providing emotional support, education and advocacy. We aim to reduce stigma and to improve services by partnering with mental health agencies, persons with a mental illness and family members.

Volunteers 55 and over can receive extra benefits such as supplemental insurances and mileage within Stanislaus County through the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). This is a federal program under Senior Corps.
