OpenWorld Learning

OpenWorld Learning is looking for volunteers to help with a variety of projects on the day of our annual TechFair. Volunteers should arrive by 12:30 PM. Work includes registering families and students as they enter, food handling, and assisting staff throughout the day, among many other opportunities. Food will be provided for volunteers. Spanish bilingual is a plus!

OpenWorld Learning's 8th Annual TechFair is being held on May 12, 2018 at Lowry Conference Center. The TechFair features a community resource fair, food, and fun for everyone. The TechFair is an opportunity for students to show off the practical, 21st century skills they've learned through OWL's after and in-school programs for third to eighth grade students. Projects range from coding, to graphic design, robotics, and beyond. There is a Live Coding and Robotics competition where winners can walk away with fantastic prizes. Our last TechFair brought in 161 student competitors and over 600 attendees as families were able to tour student's projects from throughout the year.
