SCOPE OF WORK: The Economic Empowerment Volunteer will assist the IRC Economic Empowerment team with client job placement, interview skills and resume/cover letter development. COMMITMENT: We ask that volunteers commit at least 2 hours, one day a week, although any additional time is welcome. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide one-on-one support job search support with refugees and asylees * Help identify potential employment through job searches, employer interaction, and assessment of client skill set * Assist client with resumes, job application, mock interviews, and other job readiness activities HIGHLY DESIRED:

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Bilingual in Farsi and or Armenian
  • Bilingual in Arabic
