Do you enjoy people? Do you like kids? Are you comfortable with leading a weekly 25-minute meeting of tutors, in which you share updates, read a devotional, ask for prayer requests, and lead a brief prayer? KidREACH is a one on one tutoring/mentoring program for at-risk children in the Bellevue School District. The Program Coordinator ensures the smooth operation of the sessions, empowers and encourages tutors, and creates a welcoming environment for the students and their families. Jubilee REACH management, ensuring KidREACH aligns with Jubilee REACH mission and vision. KidREACH is held at the Jubilee REACH Center Tuesday and Thursday 6:30pm - 8:00pm during the school year.

Jubilee REACH KidREACH Program Coordinator Role Description:

1. Work closely with the KidREACH Parent Liaison to monitor students' progress, bring any concerns to attention of parents, JR staff, school counselor.

2. Train all volunteer tutors; provide them with a current training and information. Schedule and lead annual September new-tutor training.

3. Maintain KidREACH student-tutor roster, including contact info, to all tutors and subs.

4. Plan and emcee the annual year-end party.

5. Ensure study rooms are set with tables and chairs. At the end of the night, stack chairs and put away tables.

6. Ensure the kids' snack has been prepared and set out.

7. Provide access to KidREACH materials and students' boxes.

8. Ensure all volunteer tutors sign in and take attendance.

9. Lead the tutor meeting and share relevant announcements.

10. Serve as a general resource for student or tutor questions.

11. In an emergency, if a tutor or subtitute is absent without warning, serve as the substitute tutor for that night.
