Computer Learning Volunteers at Aquinas Literacy Center assist adult English language learners with basic computer skills and utilizing a computer program (Rosetta Stone) to facilitate learning English. CLC Volunteers register learners into our system, help them feel comfortable using the computers, and answer questions about Rosetta Stone. CLC volunteers also offer help to learners with resume building, basic computer skills, using internet video, setting up an email account, etc. CLC volunteers can also teach basic computer skills and job readiness classes, if desired.
We are seeking adults who are available once a week for 2 hours, Monday through Thursday. We are especially in need of volunteers on Monday evenings 6-8pm. Training will be provided, and your schedule will be determined with the Volunteer Coordinator based on your availability and when time slots are open.
