Summer Camp Interns help create special learning experiences and a fun summer of great memories!


Children's Museum Tucson, downtown location, is looking for enthusiastic interns to help with our 9 weeks of Summer Camps. Interns will assist the Instructor with all duties during the duration of each camp including:

*Camp set up and prep each day

*Facilitating activities, crafts and demos during camp hours

*Supervise campers while they visit Museum galleries each day

*Assist with snack and lunch breaks

*Clean up and reset at the end of each day

Kinder camps include children ages 4-6, and Junior camps include children ages 7-9. Camp hours may be half day from 9a - noon or full day from 9a-3p.

Interns should have previous experience working with elementary school aged children, an interest in education or art and a fun, outgoing personality! Interns must be able to commit to a full five-day session of a camp including set up and clean up.

Interns will receive a letter of recommendation from Camp Instructor and /or CMT Volunteer Coordinator upon completion of Internship.

Requirements & Commitment

  • Must be at least 18
  • 20 hours per week or entire camp session
  • Interns must be able to commit to an entire camp session.
